French Quarter Hotels
French Quarter hotels are very popular—not surprising since the French quarter is New Orleans most visited neighborhood—and consequently French Quarter hotel reservations should be booked well in advance. This is particularly important if you plan to visit during annual French Quarter or New Orleans events such as Mardi Gras, Jazz and Heritage Festival or French Quarter Festival.

The Astor Crown Plaza — Superior Class (4 Star) New Orleans hotel opened in 2002 with 515 rooms and suites. Located at Canal and Bourbon it's practically in the French Quarter. Bourbon House Restaurant operated by the Brennan Family. The Astor features an outdoor pool, outdoor whirlpool, and fitness center.
The Park Plaza Hotel (formerly Radisson) — First Class (3 Star) is a New Orleans landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Close to the Superdome, The Radisson has a free shuttle to the French Quarter and Riverwalk. Outdoor rooftop pool and hot tub, fitness room, business center, 2 restaurants, 1 lounge.
Garden District Hotels
Garden District Hotels located along the historic St. Charles Streetcar line provide easy access to Audubon Park, Audubon Zoo and Loyola and Tulane Universities at one end and Canal Street, the French Quarter and Riverfront Park at the other end in addition to elegant Garden District homes and mansions.
