Salisbury Cathedral is one of the most impressive in Great Britian, with the largest Close, Cathedral Cloister and spire. Salisbury itself if full of historic buildings. I have twenty photographs and plenty of historical information on the just posted Salisbury page.

The Brooklyn Botanic Garden has many speciality gardens such as the Rose Garden, Rock Garden, Native Flora Garden and Cherry Esplanade, but the best known is probably the Japanese Hill-and-Pond Garden. Steinhardt Conservatory in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden is a complex of greenhouses with a wide variety of specialized environments from around the world.

Five New York City Pages added today. Brooklyn is a New York City borough with plenty to see and do; visit the Brooklyn Museum—one of the largest in the U.S., or the Brooklyn Children's Museum—the first children's museum. Coney Island has year-round attractions. In addition to the beach there is a fishing pier, KeySpan Park home of the Brooklyn Cyclones and the New York Aquarium.

A photo shoot in New Orleans earlier this year left no doubt that the places most visited by tourists have recovered from what little damage they suffered from Hurricane Katrina. The other 80% of the city has not been so fortunate. Story and pictures.

One of the most famous botanic gardens in the world is Royal Botanic Garden, Kew in London England—more commonly known as Kew Gardens. I've added a map of the garden and the first four pages (with lots of pictures as usual) to my London section. Don't miss the page on Glasshouses at Kew including the historic Victorian Palm House and Temperate House as well as more modern versions such as the Princess of Wales Conservatory and Davies Alpine house.

Three London pages added: London's South Kensington neighborhood—also known as Albertopolis—on the edge of Kensington Garden Park has many attractions for visitors including museums, colleges and embassies. London Museums in South Kensington include the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum, and the Victoria and Albert Museum. The nearby Brompton (London) Oratory is a Roman Catholic church that is interesting both historically and architecturally.
