Uncorked at Oxbow
Tasting Room for Ahnfeldt Wines in Napa CA
Napa Valley & Sonoma Wine Tasting Tours
The partners behind Uncorked at Oxbow, Bruce Ahnfeldt and Celeste Carducci, have extensive backgrounds in the wine industry.
Celeste worked in the wine business for years and studied wine in France, Italy, and Washington, D. C. before moving to Napa.
In 1985, after enjoying a successful law career, Bruce moved to Napa Valley, planted Cabernet Sauvignon, and began selling grapes. In 2002 he made another big step, creating his own Ahnfeldt Wines. Considering the very high ratings Ahnfeldt Wines have earned, he made the right decision.
In creating Uncorked at Oxbow, Ahnfeldt and Carducci designed a unique and entertaining backdrop to highlight their wines.
The building that houses Uncorked started life in the early 1900s as three separate mini-homes, and sometime in the 1930s had been transformed into a single dwelling. Just recently, the partners completely renovated the structure, transforming it into an attractive and inviting space. In the small but comfortable “Grand Salon” you’ll find food, bonded barrel tastings, wine flights, art, music (including unplanned jam sessions), blending sessions, and more.
Celeste owns and operates the McClelland-Priest B&B, which is housed in a beautifully-restored 1879 mansion. Bruce is an accomplished classical and flamenco guitarist.
Amenities: Wine Club, Impromptu jam sessions
