Muir Woods Shuttle Tour—Giant Coastal Redwoods

The Most Comprehensive Muir Woods Tour includes a Ferry/Bay Cruise to an amazing bay area town, called Tiburon. Just like Sausalito on our San Francisco city tour, Tiburon offers a ferry landing, small boutique shops, great places to eat and picturesque views of San Francisco.

After the Muir Woods portion of the tour, we take you to Muir Beach overlook. We also take you to the majestic Marin Headlands for a great picture stop of the Golden Gate Bridge.

No tour guides are allowed in the park so you will be able to experience the peace and quiet of Muir Woods National Monument and some of the oldest and tallest living things on earth.

Take an easy walk on a level paved trail into the heart of the forest with trees 45 time taller than you. Your path follows Redwood Creek where you might spot river otters, great egrets or spotted owls.

Departure Point and Times

Muir Woods Shuttle tour starts at the Ferry Building on the Embarcadero at the end of Market Street. Advance reservations are required and frequently sell out (only 24 a day) so book early.

Monday – Friday:
1pm – 5:25pm  

Saturday & Sunday:
1pm – 6:45pm (additional time at each stop on weekends)
